Alexandra Lingerie Promotional Model/Brand Ambassador for ADL Fashion Week (October 2022)

SATURDAY: Alexandra Lingerie will be having promotional models, wearing lingerie sets from the brands sold in store, standing at the entrance to Adelaide Arcade (Rundle Mall end), distributing flyers and offering fittings to attract customers to the store. Saturday hours will be between 9:30am and 5pm, for a minimum of 3 hours, up to the full day, depending on availability and needs.

SUNDAY: Alexandra Lingerie will be showcasing at the Adelaide Arcade Fashion Week High Tea. Models will be wearing lingerie sets and roaming the high tea environment/be presented by the MC while the event is occurring. Sunday hours will be from 9:30am to 12:30pm (3 hours).

You will be on your feet for the entirety of any shift you are invited to, and you will need to wear at least a small heel (that you provide) for this time. If this is not suitable for you please inform us upon application.

Alexandra Lingerie caters for D+ cup sizes and models/promoters will need to fall into this category to be able to suitably display the range. We recommend coming in store to get fitted properly as many women are wearing incorrectly sized bras. Applicants will need to come in for at least one fitting before the event, this can be done as part of the interview process.

Models/promoters will be outfitted in Alexandra’s selection of store merchandise, which they will need to wear over a nude g-string that they provide themselves. They will need to be able to style their own hair and makeup to a high standard. Neutral makeup and simple hairstyles preferred. Models/promoters will need to supply their own footwear – neutral beige or black heels.

We will be considering applicants who are outgoing, exciting, energetic, and comfortable talking and selling. If you can approach anyone for a conversation, this job is right up your alley. We are looking for people who are friendly and assertive. Models/promoters will need to be comfortable inviting people to come in store to get fitted, and talking to them about key points like “80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra” and about the store’s size range (6-22, D-K cups). Memorisation skills and the ability to speak well are essential.

In addition to being friendly and outgoing, promotional models should also be well-mannered and well-spoken while working. Promotional models will be acting as representatives of our brand, and are expected to behave in an exemplary fashion. Models/promoters will be there to talk about the store and the range, offer fittings, hand out flyers and call out information about the store. “D cup and up” and “get fitted” were popular statements at the last event.

Models/promoters will be contracted for no less than 3 hours per shift, but shifts up to 5 hours with a paid tea break will potentially be available, depending on availability of all selected applicants.

Applicants must be over 18 and have the right to live and work in Australia to be eligible for this job. We embrace diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity. We welcome and encourage applications from people from all backgrounds.
